Benidorm is a Spanish city on the Costa Blanca coast, known for its impressive skyscrapers that have earned it the nickname “the Spanish Manhattan.” It attracts visitors not only with its wide, well-maintained sandy beaches – Levante and Poniente – but also with its vibrant restaurant and bar scene and extensive tourist facilities. Benidorm is a perfect destination for relaxation, offering a variety of attractions such as theme parks, zoos, and water parks. The surrounding mountains protect the city from the wind, creating a warm microclimate ideal for visits year-round. The historic part of the city, reminiscent of traditional Spanish fishing villages, is especially charming. With its blend of modern amenities and traditional charm, Benidorm is one of the most popular resorts on the Spanish coast.
March and April in Benidorm bring warm but not yet hot weather.
Accommodation and Meals
We’ll be staying and dining at the highly-rated 3-star Poseidon Playa Hotel. Located right on the beach, all rooms for our camp participants will have sea views! The hotel offers a standard pool, a children’s pool, restaurants, a bar, sun loungers with umbrellas, and a playroom where children can enjoy different activities.
The hotel offers different types of rooms: double rooms, double rooms with an extra bed, and superior 4-person rooms with two large beds (ideal for families). If you prefer a private room, you can book a double for single occupancy. Check our price list to see all the accommodation options available.
Your stay includes full board with three buffet meals daily, featuring a wide selection, including options for those with dietary restrictions. Half board is not available.

Training
Those who have already been with us at the camp know that we prioritise training quality above all. Our camp is open to participants of all skill levels, with training groups of six people (up to eight for beginner groups), each with a dedicated court and coach. Training units will last 1h 30 min.
We plan 9 training units. Additionally, there will be a social tournament and a final tournament to challenge yourself and test the skills you have gained! You will have free access to the courts, so there will be an option for additional play, which you will surely take advantage of!
If you have your own training group, we encourage you to sign up as a group/pair. If you are alone, we will match you to an appropriate training group.
Training will be held in English. Coaches use simple English language, basic knowledge is sufficient. You will gradually get to know the camp coaches.
Schedule
Here’s the preliminary camp schedule. The final version may differ from what’s presented here depending on the number of participants and weather.
March 28 – arrival day:
- access to courts from the morning
- hotel check-in possible from 14:00
- 17:00 – 19:00 – ‘get to know each other’ free games
- 21:00 – camp opening and welcome party
April 4 – departure day:
- all day – free use of courts
- by 12:00 – check-out from hotel
- end of the camp…
After the check-out, there will be an opportunity to use a shower room. For more information, please ask the reception.
It is possible to extend your stay by arriving earlier or staying longer at the hotel. You can do this through us – details in the price list.
Solo Travellers – YES! Age limits – NONE!
Our camps attract solo travellers, pairs (both beach volleyball and life partners), as well as complete or incomplete training groups. Are you alone and have doubts about coming to the camp? Don’t worry – we’ll match you with a roommate and a training group suited to your level (you specify your level during camp registration). You can also choose the option of single room accommodation. The beach volleyball community is a group of nice, friendly, and open people, and if you come to our camp alone, you’ll return having made many new friends and a team for future camps!
Our camps are designed for adults and minors (under parental supervision). So far, we’ve had the pleasure of training people aged 13 to 67. We’d be happy to expand this range! So if you’re worried that you won’t fit in age-wise with the rest of the group… don’t worry!
Sport Package
Want to take part in the sports activities but arrange your own accommodation and meals? Or maybe you’d like to book your flights and accommodation through a travel agency and join us just for the sports part?

For travel companions and families
Many of our training participants come with non-training partners, spouses, friends, children, or family members. You can reserve a spot for an accompanying person through the camp’s registration form. The hotel can offer family rooms as well.
Travel companions can join all group activities except the training sessions — such as the quiz, lecture, conditioning, and stretching — and are welcome to use the courts outside of training hours.
How to get there
The easiest way to get to Benidorm is by flying into Alicante, which has many flight options. From the airport, take the ALSA bus #520 to the Benidorm stop. The ticket costs around €8, and the ride takes about 45 minutes.
From the Benidorm bus station, a taxi will get you to the hotel in about 10 minutes.
