General Terms and Conditions of Participation in Sports Camps

Effective from: May 1st 2026

1. Definitions and Organiser

1.1. Organiser: Kontra Sport, ul. Chełmska 9/40, 00-724 Warsaw, Poland, VAT EU: PL5214019301, entered in the Register of Tour Organisers maintained by the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship under entry no. 43297. Email: .

1.2. Traveller: Any person concluding a Contract with the Organiser or entitled to participate in the Camp based on it.

1.3. GTC: These General Terms and Conditions, which form an integral part of the Contract.

2. Conclusion of the Contract

2.1. The Contract between the Traveller and the Organiser is concluded electronically when the Traveller completes the online booking form and pays the required amount (deposit or full price).

2.2. If booking for multiple participants, the lead booker guarantees they have the authority to accept these GTC on behalf of all persons listed in the booking.

3. Price and Payments

3.1. The Traveller is obliged to make payments according to the schedule specified in the Contract.

3.2. If any payment is delayed by more than 3 days, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the booking and charge a cancellation fee in accordance with Section 5.

3.3. Pricing and Currency Conversion: The total price of the Camp is calculated based on the fixed costs of its individual components in their respective currencies. If any dynamic currency conversion is required for booking, additional options, or payment processing, the exchange rate will be determined using the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) from the working day immediately preceding the date of the transaction or invoice issuance.

4. Transfer of the Contract

4.1. The Traveller may transfer their rights and obligations under the Contract to another person who satisfies all conditions applicable to the Camp, provided the Organiser is notified via e-mail no later than 7 days before the Camp start date.

4.2. The transferor and the transferee are jointly and severally liable for the remaining price of the Camp and the transfer costs.

4.3. A fixed fee for the transfer is 60 EUR, plus any actual external costs incurred by the Organiser. The transfer fee must be paid before the change is processed.

4.4. The new participant accepts the Camp package in its current scope. No refunds or price reductions will be issued for downgrading the package scope.

5. Cancellation by the Traveller

5.1. The Traveller may cancel the Contract at any time before the start of the Camp by sending an e-mail to the Organiser.

5.2. If the Traveller cancels the Contract, the refund of the payments made shall be reduced by the following standardised cancellation fees:

  • 60 or more days before the Camp start date: 15% of the total price.
  • Between 59 and 31 days before the Camp start date: 30% of the total price.
  • Between 30 and 14 days before the Camp start date: 50% of the total price.
  • Between 13 and 7 days before the Camp start date: 80% of the total price.
  • Less than 7 days before the Camp start date or in the event of no-show: 100% of the total price.

5.3. Travel Insurance Recommendation: The Organiser strongly recommends that the Traveller purchases a comprehensive third-party travel insurance policy, including trip cancellation and interruption cover. The Organiser does not provide cancellation insurance within the Camp price.

6. Changes by the Organiser

6.1. The Organiser reserves the right to make insignificant changes to the Contract before the Camp starts. The Traveller will be notified via email.

6.2. If the Organiser is forced to significantly alter any main characteristics of the services or increase the price by more than 8%, the Traveller may accept the change or terminate the Contract without a cancellation fee within a period specified by the Organiser.

7. Liability and Lack of Conformity

7.1. The Organiser is liable for the performance of all travel services included in the Contract.

7.2. The Traveller is obliged to notify the Organiser of any lack of conformity felt during the Camp without undue delay to the local coordinator on-site.

8. Complaints

8.1. Formal complaints regarding the Camp performance must be submitted to the Organiser via email.

8.2. The Organiser shall review and reply to the complaint within 14 days of its receipt.

9. Insolvency Protection

9.1. The Organiser has insolvency protection in place to refund the Traveller’s payments. This protection is provided by: Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Europa S.A., ul. Wagonowa 1, 53-612 Wrocław, Poland.

9.2. The competent authority supervising the protection is: Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Mazowieckiego w Warszawie, ul. Jagiellońska 26, 03-719 Warszawa, Poland.

9.3. The Organiser contributes to the Tourism Guarantee Fund (TFG) and Tourism Assistance Fund (TFP) in accordance with applicable regulations.

10. Final Provisions

10.1. This Contract and GTC are governed by the laws of the European Union, in particular Directive (EU) 2015/2302, as well as the applicable laws of the Organiser’s place of establishment.

10.2. Any disputes arising from this Contract shall be resolved by the competent court for the Organiser’s registered office, unless applicable consumer protection laws provide a more favourable jurisdiction for the Traveller.

10.3. If any provision of these GTC is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
