The Place

COS Spala is a well-equipped training and accommodation center that welcomes both Polish and international national teams across various Olympic disciplines, as well as beach volleyball enthusiasts at every level.
The hall where we will train is the most modern beach volleyball hall in Poland. It accommodates 3 or 4 (depending on the layout) full-size beach volleyball courts. The hall is very high and warm, so there’s no need to wear thermal clothing. The temperature inside typically stays between 23-26℃.
The sports center is surrounded by beautiful forests, creating a perfect setting for relaxation between training sessions. You can take a walk in the woods, visit the swimming pool, enjoy some ice cream in town, or even go mushroom picking in the autumn if that’s your thing!

How do I get there? I’m not from Poland – can I still join the camp?

We have already hosted people from many different countries! So don’t hesitate! You can combine a city break to Warsaw with our camp! All training sessions are held in English.
The closest major airport is Warsaw – Chopin (WAW) operating many flights from all over Europe. Other one is Modlin (WMI).
If you’re flying to Warsaw, you can reserve transport with Kontra:

Accommodation and meals

We will be staying in one of the hotels at the Sport Center in Spała. Rooms are available as singles or doubles, and each room is equipped with a bathroom, refrigerator, TV, and Wi-Fi access.
For those arriving with children, we may be able to secure a triple room, but there are only a few available, so please let us know promptly. It is not possible to add extra beds.
The offer includes full board, with meals served buffet style. The food is very healthy and varied, tailored to the needs of athletes. Complementing the dining options is a bar.. Since all meals are served buffet style, those with special dietary requirements, such as vegans and vegetarians, will be able to choose dishes that suit their needs.

Training and playing

You will train in groups of no more than six people, except for beginner groups, which may have up to eight participants. We work only with professional and experienced coaches – your development is our priority.
There is an option to purchase additional private training sessions for individuals or teams. To arrange this, please contact us directly.
You can also use the courts outside of training hours. Many participants like to organize extra games during the camp – you’re welcome to join them.

Who is the camp for?

Are you worried that your skill level isn’t the right fit? Concerned about your age? Or perhaps that you’re on your own?
Our camps attract a diverse crowd of solo travelers, teams, and groups of friends. If you’re on your own and hesitant to join the camp, don’t worry – we’ll match you with a roommate and a training group that suits your level (which you’ll specify when signing up for the camp). You also have the option of choosing a single room. The beach volleyball community is a cool, friendly, and open group of people, so if you come alone, you’re guaranteed to leave with many new friends and a squad for future camps!
Are you a complete beginner worried about not keeping up? Don’t be! We train people at all skill levels, and those who once came to their first camp without any skills now train in intermediate and advanced groups. Everyone has to start somewhere!
Our camps are designed for both adults and minors who will stay in the hotel under the supervision of adults. So far, we’ve had the pleasure of coaching individuals aged from 13 to 64 years old. We’re always happy to broaden this range, so if you’re worried that you might not fit in age-wise with the rest of the group, don’t be!
